Proudly giving back.
As a proud Sunshine Coast family, it’s comes naturally to us to give back to the community we love and call home.
RGD Group Director Ron Grabbe has spent a lifetime on the water – as a professional athlete and for leisure. He is an Outrigger Canoe World and National Champion and Club President of the Mooloolaba Outrigger Canoe Club.
However, the ‘giving back’ doesn’t stop with Ron. Our team takes every opportunity to support the communities in which we work, especially ventures where people have the opportunity to experience and thrive in the beautiful waterways of this region.
“For me water is energy and opportunity. It’s a life force that has always brought me joy and prosperity, whether it’s been in outrigging or property projects.”
Director, RGD Group
RGD Group is a proud sponsor and actively participates in the No Limits Adaptive Paddling Program.
No Limits Adaptive Paddling supports people with physical disabilities to participate in recreational activities and competitive outrigger canoeing events.
Created by the Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association (AOCRA) and led by the Mooloolaba Outrigger Canoe Club, men and women come together to take part in recreational sessions, which also includes joining the novice paddlers in team boats on Sunday mornings on the open ocean. Many have transferred from other sports such as road racing, tennis, swimming and basketball.
Physical disabilities can range greatly – from vision and hearing impairment to wheelchair athletes. Everyone is welcome. There really are NO LIMITS for these extraordinary and inspiring athletes.

RGD Group proudly supports this annual Sunshine Coast Collaborative Charity Event.
Waterlife is an annual event that sees teams of five paddlers participate in a fun and light-hearted race across Lake Kawana to raise funds for Sunshine Coast charities endED and No Limits Paddlers.
RGD Group proudly sponsors the day, our director Ron is actively involved in the coordination of the event and our team volunteers and participates in the paddling. We have a great track record – in 2017 we added ‘Fastest All Male Crew’ to our list of achievements.
